reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a good size as was the bed. very comfortable room. Lounge areas light and comfortable.
The dining room:- No table cloths, meals rather expensive, some staff seemed to lack basic training.
The welcome and the staff. The room size is good and clean also very good location.
I liked the easy parking, the comfortable room and the breakfast.
I found it difficult to locate
Reception staff were very helpful
At first I thought the cost of meals was excessive - being a veggie the idea of paying £12 for a breakfast . I did miss some offers that were available until we were leaving
The choice of price for the brreakfasts
Unfortunately we found a french fry on the dressing table chair!!!!!!! Hence only good for cleanliness of the room. Aoart from that everything was excellent.
Staff were very helpful. The double room was spacious and comfortable for single occupancy.
Fabric on the armchair was old and stained and the chair could not be positioned so that you could watch the TV.
To be honest everything was of a very poor standard, and I am not normally one to moan about anything
Reception staff were not professional at all on arrival.Hotel itself needs updating, very old fashioned. Breakfast was very poor, cold food, had to ask for bread for toast, nothing topped up, not even busy at the time. Staff very unprofessional not cleaning tables properly etc. Bar staff charging different prices for same orders, then not even apologising for error. Room Key an absolute nightmare! Keptr de-magnetising so had to go back and for to be re-magnetised not ideal doing this at 11.30pm, still didn;t work after three times. Receptionist finally helping me to get into room after third time, totally unacceptable, would never visit again!!!Definately not worth the money whatsoever!!!!
The reception staff were fantastic!
Room was way too hot and the ac unit didn't work
Edge of town location, away from troublesome youth, quiet respectable clientel. Would siut the more decerning traveller. Bit on the expensive side considering no breakfast included in the price. Would consider staying there again.
.On arrival the staff not found to be overly welcoming. I also had booked four rooms 2 double 2 twin but on arrival I was confronted with a issue of getting 3 doubles and 1 twin which wasnt suitable at all for my party. On complaining and asking for this to be amended the member of staff had a huge attitude problem who actually turned out to be the duty manager was very unhelpful and basicly told me there was nothing she could do. After a lot of arguing and attitude again I asked for the Head Office number to make a complaint only to get more attitude I have since wrote a serious letter of complaint to the head office awaiting their response. On top of this I found the hotel to be quite dirty one of the rooms w/c was dirty. Towels in a drawer and not in bathroom,no biscuits in any rooms other than one and that was one biscuit half eaten. Cooked breakfast you would be better jumping in the car and going to nearest Tesco as not good value for money. On ordering 4 Lattes in the bar it was found 1 was cold and the other 3 were hot milk only. Not a good experience at all. As I have stayed in the Ramada in quite a few countries but this was by far the most disspointing hotel I have ever stayed in and it was only for two nights
I have previoulsy used Premier Inn at harwich, which is now pricing itself out of existence or being very greedy! I have discovered that your hotel is an excellent alternative!
Good service from capable friendly staff. Restaurant and bar very good. Enjoyable restaurant atmosphere, unhurried, good food, well presented.
The room was lovely & the shower was excellent.
Very very difficult to find, especially if you do not no the area
As I became ill during my stay, the courtesy, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was much appreciated. They provided service above what would have been expected.
Without a GPS it took me hours to find the hotel. Locals seemed unaware of it.
It was quiet, the food was reasonable and not too expensive.
It could do with a bit of money spent on it - it seems a bit tired.
